Hot tropics
Hi everyone,
I'm Joe, and I live in Townsville. I started woodworking when we bought our first house 30 odd years ago. Like many, I started because I had to! If a job needed doing, I had to do it because I couldn't afford to pay someone else. My first major project was in our second house, which we had to renovate completely, including replacing timber affected by dry rot.
Over the years most of my woodworking was related to building houses, including our current house. I have a guilty secret about this house. It has steel frames and trusses. Even so, we have still had problems with white ant.
Personally, I was looking forward to retiring in a couple of years. I might have to put it off by a year or so because of the financial storm. Still, that gives me more time to fit out the shed, buy new toys, (I mean tools) and plan the projects. Oh, and we harvested our first lot of honey last week, all 12 kilos.
