Leaking windows
Have just purchased a unit, was built in 1960’s (approx), the original timber windows have been replaced with aluminium ones. The problem is when we get wind driven rain the space where the windows slide fills up with water. Once it’s full it overflows onto the internal window sill. Should they have drainage holes? Should I just drill a couple of holes for the water to escape? Anyone got another option? Refer to sketch.
