Plumbing a sink to an Island Bench
Hi all, apologies if I'm asking something that's already been covered but havent found any threads so far.
As part of kitchen reno's I want to have an island bench and I want to have the sink on the island, whereas currently it is on the bench that it against the outside wall. The hot and cold, and waste currently come in through the wall about 600mm up form the ground. The usual S-bend and plumbing is all under the sink within the cabinets for the current set up.
I want to have the sink on an island bench which would be about 2000mm from the wall. I am wondering if this is possible since the waste would then have to run under the floor for about 2000mm (which would be easy enough as there is plenty of space under there) but it might not have much fall (if any) if it were to come outside at ground level and meet up with the existing sewage pipe?
I've been assuming its possible since there are pleny of island benches with sinks, but I figured I better make sure before I make any plans.
Thanks all
