Pressure Relief Valve Replacement
Hi, my electric hot water pressure relief valve has been continuously leaking for a week now. Is replacing the valve myself a straightforward job? My local plumbers charge like a wounded bull, so i wouldn't mind having a go myself.
I'm thinking...
1. cut power to the hot water tank
2. turn off hot water mains tap
3. drain some water to reduce pressure in the tank
4. replace valve and turn it all back on
have i missed anything?
