Laying hardwood floorboards on Red Tongue Termiflor (like Structaflor)
Hi,
I am looking for some advice.
We are building our house - steel frame. The joists are steel Z and we have put Red Tongue Termiflor particleboard over them as we need some serious termite protection here. Next, we have recycled Tassie Oak floorboards to put over the top of the Termiflor. I'm not sure of the best option to secure the floorboards to the particleboard. I'm guessing construction adhesive and a nail or screw of some type. As it is shallow I am wondering whether we can use a secret nailer?
I would appreciate any advice!
Thanks,
jo
