Best brands of floating flooring?
I will shortly be installing a floating floor. There are so many brands out there...which one to choose? The two brands I am looking at so far are Formica and Quick-step. I would love to have a real timber floating floor but my budget just doesnt go that far.
I am looking at these brands because they the only ones I have seen so far that have the colour I like, I dont like anything too yellow or too red, or is too dark or too shiny. I especially like the Formica 'Malted Oak'.
Has anyone any experience with either of these brands? Formica is made by The Laminex Group, the same company that supplies most of the kitchen laminates in Australia and around the world and have done for 100 years, so it cant be that bad, even though you can buy it at Bunnings! (I know many people on this site have said dont buy flooring from Bunnings).
Quick step has the uniclick locking system which is supposed to be the best.
Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with either of these?
