Laying red ironbar flooring on slab
G'day all,
I am wanting to put down a solid red ironbark floor in our new house in sep-oct.
I was thinking of doing it myself but due to timing of our second child being born in oct.
My main problem is that every proffesional floor layer I talk to says something different some say its to tough and can only be laid as overlay on ply.
others that it can be layed on concrete slab even though the slab will be less than 6months old.
Does anyone have experience with this or can recomend anyone to me to do the job?
The house is in Garfield just out of Melbourne.
Regards Davie
