Connecting Pine Bearers to bricks
Now I know i have over engineered my gound level deck, but have built and sunk brick pillars to run my bearers across. How would I connect the pine to the brick?? Is their and L plate i would use? and would you screw the pine ti the brick on every brick?
Span is about 1.2M max between bricks.
Also - got my span tables from the following site (seeing this is the timber i'll use.
http://www.wespine.com.au/decking.pdf
what does the 2 mean in say :
2/90x45 for a span of 1.2m??
Do i need to run 2 side by side? I noticed the joists didn't have the 2 - and the diagram doesn't show 2 lengths of timber?
