I've just picked the tiles today for my bathroom and am planning on installing these over the next week or so.

One thing I noticed is that my wall tiles are of unequal thickness. The bottom row of wall tiles are a 30x45 as opposed to the 30x60 tiles for the top three rows. I did this on purpose to fit the height of the wall.

What I didn't realize at the time of buying is that the 45x30 tiles are 8mm thick and the 30x60 tiles are 10mm thick. The tiler at the shop says to simply pack out the 8mm thick bottom row tiles with more adhesive, which obviously makes sense. However, I am wondering how practical/difficult this is to do. Has anyone here ever had to do it?
