Davco Powder Mastic over Ardex/Dunlop Waterproofer
I am about to tile my walls using Davco Powder Mastic adhesive over a Ardex WPM001 / Dunlop Waterproofing membrane.
I have rang Davco technical support and they have told me that as a "general rule" they cannot recommended using their adhesive over another manufacturers waterproofing membrane. I can understand their position on this.
However, on a practical level, has anyone ever done this before? I assume that it should be OK, but just want to make sure as it could potentially be an expensive & time consuming mistake.
Thanks.
