Kit Comparison
There are two kits available using both the TS 55 + CT33 ($2159) and the the TS 75 + CT22 ($2109). I am not in the position to see both saws and handle them but I have used a TS55 extensively in the past. Is the TS75 much bulkier to use? is the smaller CT22 only a bag capacity thing? Both kits are here...http://sydneytools.com.au/shopdispla...Complete+Packs

I just noticed the TS 75 kit does not have rails in it, that most makes the TS 55 a better thing I reckon. It would be nice to have a comparitive table for all Festool products.

The 75 is bulkier to use, but most who choose it don't seem to mind.
22 or 33 It is mostly a capacity thng AFAIK.
You would want at least one guide rail.
If you get your hands on a current catalog (A?), there are comparitive tables for most items.Do nothing, stay ahead

Thanks Eli, I will try and get a late model cattledog and have a squizz. For sheet cutting I think the 55 is adequate and I can't see any point in not buying a kit with rails, after all that is the whole point isn't it.

Sure is. The two main differences between the two are depth and power. For just sheet goods, the 55 kills it. I did a job with some slabs recently that did require grunt and reach of the 75, but that was the first time in a year.

Thanks Ian, I will DL this week it and have a look. I have been away racing for the weekend and the recovery takes longer as I get older.
