Don't drool
The new secondhand radial arm saw arrived today.
An Omega with 18" blade capacity. 30" length of cut. Infinitely ajustable vertical, horizontal and compound angles. 3hp motor and everything you could wish for in a radial arm saw. The only thing that is wrong with it is a missing leg from the stand. I'll fix that in a flash.
Needs a bit of a cleanup but otherwise it is brilliant.
Now here comes the good part...... The cost $150. Yes that is right ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY dollars. Why? It is 3 phase and no one wanted to buy it. Thank all the gods for 3 phase. I have it and have a workshop that now has a saw bench, 28" thicknesser, and the new second hand radial arm saw. All 3 phase all in perfect working order and all headed for the tip. Total cost for the lot machine, $450.
3 phase I love it.
Sorry about the gloating but I just couldn't help it. Nar-na-na-nar-narrrrr
