    G'day All,

This is my first go at this. The site seems great, lots of advice from eager-to-help woodworkers. I need some help! Recently purchased a Carbatec 8" Jointer. The fence adjustment is really puzzling me. I find the manual hard to fathom.
    Any suggestions.
    Thanks

Grizzly is a US company that badges similar Chinese-made machinery. They have doenpretty good manuals for theirmachines thatyou can download form their website (I see they have a few8" jointers, so one may well be very similar to yours). Goodluck and welcome to the Forums.
    Cheers

    Hello Ross,
    Yes that the one.
I,ve virtually pulled it to pieces to get to know/understand its workings.
I had no alternative.I think I know a lot more now (after many hours).
