Chris, I have since found some other things that either don't work anymore (share price downloads at Commsec) or are unpedictable, eg pages don't work at FreeBookSpot.
How did you go back to previous version?
I have come to the conclusion that Firefox 3 was released way too early and isn't ready.

Fred, I keep my .exe installation files so I thought, bugger it and ran the old one and it reverted to the old browser. I am using 20016 now and I think that I have updated it since the re-install but I can't remember. The version I am using DL video OK.
