Oil & Wax
I have a few projects finished in organoil "hard burnishing" and "danish oil."
I'm hoping to wax over them and was planing on using the organoil wax.
Question:
- What wax do people recommend?
- Any tips on waxing?

U-Beaut Traditional Wax is my favorite.
Best wax tip over oil is to make sure the oil is really, really dry. This thread has some good information, especially Neil's post.
Regards,
Tex

Thanks for the pointers. It's great to be able to learn from the experiences of others.
I'll keep an eye out for the traditional wax, I'll have to mail order it though, might be an excuse to put in an order.
I'm still oiling at the moment so no rush. Deadline for projects is end of sept.

One interpretation could be:
hurry up, a) with your project and b) with buying the trad wax .
Why? A) we love photos of people's work and b) trad wax is goooood stuff.
cheers

Hey BozInOz
How is the project going - applied any wax yet? I'm curious as I'm about to do the exact same thing, put wax on top of Danish Oil. Any piccies yet?
