    Default G'day mate

Hi all, my name is Neil, I live in Mandurah WA. My occupation is Diesel mechanic I work at Alcoa, so I get lots of time off to spend in the shed. I have made most of the furniture in our house. One of my resent projects was from 120 year old jarrah my friend had given me from an old farm house on his property.
After 8 months and many blades etc, the results from this recycled timber was worth the effort. So old used jarrah is the timber I like to use the most because of the end result, is worth the effort!!

    G'day Neil2,
Welcome to the forum. A word of warning, it's very addictive.
Got any pictures of your recycled timber furniture. I'm sure there's lots of people here who'd like to see them.

    Default old jarrah

Most jarrah I get is from a friend, he has another house he is soon to demolish so I will be getting another load from him. Payment is, I have to help him pull it apart.
