Best Finish for wooden blocks
I am in the process of making a set of blocks for a toddler out of radiata pine. I want to colour them. I understand that paint/lacquer/polyurethane is not the best solution (toxic to kids chewing on them etc)
I am proposing to stain them with UBEAUT WATER DYE (already have it) and then seal it with shellac.
Would HARD SHELLAC be the best one to use ?
Where can I get UBEAUT Shellac in Melbourne Eastern/Outer Eastern Suburbs? (Nunawading to Lilydale area.... nearby OK too)
Thanks in advance
