Having my wife home from Hospital only two weeks to go.

    - Singing in a choir.
    - Making shavings go all over the face mask while turning.
    - sleeping in.
    - cup of tea in a patch of sun on the veranda.

    Not in that order.

Not singing in one right at the moment. But I was singing in Singularity, which reherse in Upper Ferntree Gully, on a Monday night. (Which is why I'm not with them for a while. Peter late at work, no babysitter..... no singing.) They are working on Pirates of Pensance for performance in Septermber. And then Xmas stuff including Handle's Massiah.

    Happiness is:
    • Sunday night phone calls to my kids and grand kids in the UK.
    • Hearing my long-suffering wife laugh/seeing her smile.
    • Hearing the alarm going off, knowing I can at last get out of bed.
    • Two slices of toasted homemade bread with homemade marmalade.
    • Watching the dogs raz each other up.
    • A brief moment without pain and nausea.
    • Hearing the front door click as my carers leave.
    • The first dafodils and tulips flowering.
    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Regards, Woodwould.
