Thread: Subscribed Threads - no emails?
-

You receive a single email alert unless you re-visit the thread, then you'll receive another, until you visit again. If you don't re-visit the thread you don't get an alert.
You can update your subscription settings in your usercp.
I changed the setting because about 85% of users had their settings changed to no subscription during the upgrade. Sites like this depend on email alerts, users often pass through and forget about us, alerts remind them we exist.Steve

I'm afraid a problem has just cropped up for me. I assume it's a change to the forum. Somehow I'm now subscribed to every thread I've posted in today and am getting an email as soon as anyone else posts to that thread.
I don't know how to unsubscribe to threads as I've never sub'd to one before ? Help ! If my inbox keeps getting hit with emails I'll juts have to stop posting (which might be a relief for some people )
Reread the previous posts, and did the change, hopefully won't get more emails. Thanks!I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.
