Not more touchy feely stuff!
Hello all ye forumites, this be my 1000th post!
Over my time I had the chance to meet around 30 forumites through the Gtg at my place, the Buy & Sell section and the WWW show. All of them have been good blokes (and Wendy)
I've hosted a get together at my place, not knowing who who exactly was coming but inviting them anyway.
I've bought my lathe, drill press, bandsaw and mitre saw through these forums, all of which have proved to be well worth my hard earned. Except the bs.. but that was my fault
I've sent and received pens to and from the US and Scotland.
I've bought and swapped timber from around the country side.
I've learned a heap and have seen some veeery nice work made by you all
I've participated in two Challenges and am currently hosting the Box Challenge, just because of a desire to give something back to the forum and for a bit of fun.
I have never been looked down upon by anyone on the forum because of my age, which I'm very grateful for
One thing I'm constantly being amazed by is the generosity of you all, especially through the box challenge. People have been almost throwing money at me, people have offered prizes.
In short thankyou all, it's been a fun 1000 posts and I'm sure there'll be 1000s more
Haveagoodone!

"Yes, I take orders"
Right then... Here's a few for you:
- Sit up straight and chew with your mouth closed.
- Eat your vegetabless, but love your meat.
- Shoulders back, chest out, stomach in. Quick march.
- Listen to your elders - they know best. (or at least they think they do)
- Don't run with scissors.
- Never put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear.
- March over there and tell that really big bloke he looks like a sissy. Stand your ground and don't let him intimidate you.
That'll do for now. If you can handle them I'm sure we'll find you some more.
Well done... Suppose you'll be looking for long service leave now. Hows that cap going? Does it fit?
