    Default Shellawax Cream

I have a jar of Shellawax Cream which has gone very thick...is there any thinners that I could use to thin it back to it's consistency??

The book says to just stir it briskly to make it go creamy again.
You can add some of the liquid Shellawax to it & mix it in but I have never had to & I have an almost empty bottle that is now 5 years old..

Thanks Cliff, I'll try that but I think that it's too thick for stirring so maybe a few drops of the liquid might do it..

Even if it's almost a solid block it will break back down to a cream with work. Might get the odd crunchy bit in there though. Have let some go rock hard and used it like a wax stick. It works really good like that too.

Best bet is top keep it cool and stir it up regularly. IE if you only use it very occasionally then give it a stir up every time you use it. Don't leave a rag in the jar and put the lid back on as soon as you've finished using it.

It goes hard, it's usually a fair and rather obvious indication, you're not doing enough turning.
