I did something Ive been wanting to do for a long time during the week.
I attended a class to learn AUSLAN.

I grew up with deaf grandparents so learnt from an early age. My wife also signs well.
One day we were at the supermarket and my wife was in the line at the checkout and I was about thirty feet away. She signed to me to get some more milk.
Two teenage girls standing behind her giggled and one said;
"have a look at that &^%^&& retard"
Wife turns to them and says'
"Im the retard am I"
