Allan's prize rose

Allan was showing one of his prize roses at the Wallan flower show and this year the show was attended by no other than the Queen and Prince Phillip.
As they moved down the line of exhibitors who had won prizes. Prince Phillip stared in amazement at Allan's entry. "My word" said Phillip, "what a magnificent specimen of a rose. Tell me, how did you get it to grow so large?"
Allan spoke up proudly "Manure sir, plenty, pleny plenty manure. Makes it grow and grow. Just manure and more manure" Prince Phillip smiled and moved on down the line.
One of the judges escorting the royal couple leaned across the table and whispered to one of the other judges nearby. "The queen will be at this table in a couple of minutes" he said, "can you possibly get allan to use the word fertilizer instead of manure"? Barry, the other judge, answered back swiftly, "No we can't " he muttered, "It's taken us 3 weeks to get him to say manure"
