Can I reproduce this finish?
Hi all, we are about to embark on some home renovations, and i need a new vanity.
Attached is a picture of the kind of unit we are after. I dont have a problem building the unit, my question is, is this type of finish something a home handy man can reproduce?
thanks

Most probably 2pack epoxy finish sprayed in a booth.

Hard to see from the picture but probably a two pack finish. These can be a Polyurethane finish and are very durable.
A two pack paint needs to be mixed thoroughly before use and can then be applied in exactly the same way as single pack paint, giving consideration to the more critical temperature and overcoating times.
A spray booth is best suited for this kind of work but you could make up something yourself for this.
Reality is no background music.

OK thanks all so I was thinking:
Main carcass, drawers and doors made of MDF, spray on some kind of sealer then spray it with the 2 pack finish in a home made spray booth using HVLP equipment???
Mirotone seems like the way to go (although i cant find anyone near me with the stuff) so i'll speak to them re the sealer and 2pack .
Is the 2pack finish clear or colored? It was more of an egg shell color not white.
Thanks for all your help, i'll post up pics when i am done.
