Food safe finishes for Bamboo
I'm having some bamboo bowls made and was wondering how they can be made food safe.
I've been told there is a natural lacquer derived from the cashew nut tree, would anyone know what this is called, or perhaps a better option??
Thanks

Bamboo Finish
I did not read the article, but you can buy 100% Tung Oil to finish your bamboo.
Just be sure you buy only 100% Tung Oil, as there are many finishes that may use the words Tung Oil, but they will have other chemicals added, only the 100% Tung Oil is a food safe finish.
Good Luck
