Default Repairing paper tear in plasterboard

    Hi,

We've just had the undercoat done in our new house and when removing the plastic from the windows, the tape holding the plastic has accidentally been pulled the wrong way (towards the plaster). This has caused the paper (about the size of a hand) to tear from the plaster. It hasn't been torn off completely - about a quarter still attached.

Just wondering if glueing the paper back down onto the plasterboard and then 2 coats of paint would be enough to fix this. If so, what glue would I use.

    thanks
    Nada

I think you'd probably have to remove the excess paper, and skim coat the area with top coat. Then sand and paint.
