Have to brag again.... nothing scrolled for a change... this time I'm bragging on something Ken made.
Took it to the show this weekend and he got second.... yeahhhhhhhhh
It was the first time he entered anything and only the 3rd toy he ever made.
He doweled everything.... even the big dowels have another small one .... just to make sure.
This plane is rock solid... he thought of our 3 grandsons!!! lol They could all 3 sit on it and it would be just fine!
There is a big swivel wheel in the back making the plane easy to manuver.
The thing I like the best... that little wheel under the dolls arm..... moving it turns the propeller!!

Ken got the idea when my brother send us a book from Germany ... I fell in love with that plane even tho our grandsons live in TX. I knew I had no chance of it being made.... no reason to as it's too expensive to send overseas... but to my big suprise Ken also liked it and got it in his head to make it for the show.
It was so hard to keep it a secret....we hid it from everyone in the club... not easy considering many of the members drop in for coffee. Added a bit of fun tho.
Because of that I was glad nobody bought it after the show... I really want to keep it around a while and enjoy looking at it.
