"Understanding Wood Finishing" by Bob Flexner
This book may be known to y'all, but a lot of the discussion I have lurked over on the last few weeks is covered in concise and informative detail, and is backed up by sound scientific description. It would be hard to find a better source of information, esp. for newbies like me. THis man unlocked the mysteries of shellac, danish oil, strippers, poly, wax etc etc. Awesome source of 'real' information. Highly recommended.

No offence intended team - maybe check it out in the Library. Oh, I reckon I'll order a copy of THE BOOK anyway.
