I agree. Who in their right mind would make a hamburger with no beetroot?

you could buy a set of robert sorby chisels with what that would set you back.

They are very rich so it probably costs $5 or $10 only. Not a great deal. If they are too full or don’t feel like eating it, they can throw it into the bin. It doesn’t matter because they have plenty of food anyway.

anyone catch 60 minutes last night ? - they had a story on stomach stapling for kiddies in usa. the record for the doctor who does the procedures is a 400 pound 12 year old. i dont know how many pounds are kilos so .... anyone help here ???? they reckon 45 million kids are obese world wide.

anyway they said its irreversable - one kid said that 5 french fries will fill you up. so no more eating - the catch 22 is that you need to have protein drinks to suppliment your dietry needs for the rest of your life. thats gotta suck. I suppose you shouldn't be an ultra fat bastard anyway!

the other interesting statistic is that they reckon that this generation of parents are the first that will outlive thier kids due to obesity. the doc said "if you get fat you get diabeties, your legs drop off, you have a heart attack and you die young".

supersize me - my ars@ - this is natural selection at work darwinism on a huge scale. osama should invest in mcdonalds if he wants to kill americans.

Your looking at a 182kg 12 year old (2.2 pounds to the kg)

People go on as if this is the fault of the fast food outlets. How about taking responsibility for your own decisions and don't eat it. In case of the children, They don't chose what they eat, their parents do. Therefore, it stands to reason that the parents are at fault. IMHO they are the disgusting ones in the whole thing. The companies are just marketing and selling a product. If a stupid gimmick like a massive hamburger sells food then good on them.

I spent a lot of time in the US with my last job. Always amazed me the size of the meals there - if it wasn't absolutely HUGE they all carried on like they were being ripped off. Order what anywhere else would be a bar snack - wedges, onion rings etc - and you get a plate large enough for 2 normal people for dinner. Even a normal meal at Maccas I'd toss half of it out, just way too much for me.

If I went to a restaurant I'd only ever order an entree - more than enough for anyone most of the time.

Maybe it is natural selection at work - anyone stupid enough to eat like that dies early, therefore reproduces less often, therefore the 'stupid overeating' gene dies out in a couple generations
