    G'day.
Big River Flooring is produced here at their Grafton Plants.
I must say that Because their product is made fron peeled veneer, the flooring doesn't have the "correct timber look" about it.

Where as Boral Silkwood is made at Murwillumbah and is made from sawn veneers, thus giving the correct timber look.
    Hooroo.

Thanks again glock40sw, you are a wealth of information! I must say the Big River product, doesn't look quite right.

    Any suggestions on underlay?

    Ask Boral.
They make Silkwood, so use what they recommend.
    Hooroo.

big river does look differnt but when you match with veneer wall paneling it is the same,

big river blackbutt looks nothing like blackbutt

you should view each species on their own merits.

for me its bigriver over boral but that is because people in the industry i know dont have faith in the boral product yet but big river is tried and tested in the market.
