Default need help to block timber fence

I have a range style hardwood front yard fence, gaps between the railings are approx. 15-25mm. Is that a solution there to block the gaps while wind still can go through a bit ?

Fixing another layer of railings (hit and miss) to the back of posts is an expensive solution. And the the fence will become too thick for our small front yard.

I am not sure here is the right place to ask the question.

You could also fix some rabbit proof netting to the back. Much more durable. Bury it six inches into the ground to keep it in place at the bottom and staple it along the top.

Comes in 1200mm wide in a roll.

    Available at rural supplies.
