    It has to be C.

    He is certain that his hat is black because he can see that B's is white. He knows that D can see both B and C. If C's hat was white, D would see 2 white hats and would have already identified that his must be black. Because D hasn't called out, C knows that D can see one white and one black hat.

    In the final scenes of the movie Dr Strangelove, the pilot of the American bomber rides the nuclear bomb like a rodeo rider on a mustang. The part of the pilot was played by Slim Pickens. Who did Stanley Kubrick choose originally for this role?
