    Default I Saw 'Shout'

I saw 'Shout' today at the Lyric Theatre (alias Casino). I guess I'm used to women taking off their shoes and resting them on the front railing during the show but today:

As well as a woman doing the shoes off thing, there was a guy who must have been 25 stone (in the old system) sitting next to a lady- well he was half way into her seat and there was an arm rest between them.
During the second act, the people behind me opened (not 1) but 2 packets of chips and ate them through the performance.

Is this just a side effect of getting old? Do we just put up with this stuff? Whenever I make a comment to friends, they say 'get over it'.

Do we simply pay the $s to see these shows and put up with this stuff?

I am amazed you saw/heard Shout a show about Rock & Roll of days when there would be screaming females everywhere
then you wouldn't hear the music let alone crisp packets being eaten
Know a few people who said more people were up dancing in the isles than on the stage

You're absolutely right CP, fat people should not be allowed out.

The 'star' did not have the strength in his voice that JOK had and the bass in the music was super loud.
The last 2 songs probably saved the show as did 'Peewee' (Deltone). The medley (can you have a medley of 2 songs?) of Purple People Eater and Witchdoctor was excellent. (For those under 50, go ask an oldie what that last sentence means.)
