Enclosing eaves
Hi All,
I have an old 1960's era house, tiled roof/timber frames and I want to enclose the eaves.
Does anyone know if there is some kind of cormmercially available metal trim that can be fixed to the brick wall and accept via a slot, fibre cement sheet to hide the join where the sheet would normally abut the wall.
What other methods have people employed to enclose eaves.??
Thanks in adavance.

I think the usual way to do it would be to run a batten around the wall at the height of the eave sheet. Install the eave sheet by nailing to the batten and then run a bit of quad around over that to hide the join.
How are you planning to fix the eave sheet under the fascia? Does it have a slot?"I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

No my facia does not have a slot. I was planning on running battens from the batten attached to the wall to the underside of the roof beam/purlin(I dont know what they are called, the beams that the tile battens attach to).
