Default What did I do wrong

I came in last night after being away from home over night, I gave the dog a pat and cuddle and than started to unpack. My wife was just standing there looking at me and said what about me? Apparently I had remembered the dog but not her. Is this a Venus Mars thing or what, what did I do wrong.

    Phil,
Surely by your age you whould have figured out that no matter how natural/normal you think it is the pat and cuddle the dog first ... you just don't.

Geez man ... think about it.
    Cheers.

    Vernon.

You use the word " Wife" so I assume you are married
You agnoledged the dog first because he greated you at the door
You started to unpack so as not to make a mess
    You were away overnight
Obviously there were no flowers or chockies for her
She was standing there but had to speak to get your attention
    and the list goes on.....

Yes, but you don't want to end up snuggling with the dog come bed time.
    Cheers.

Like someone posted here a while back. Lock both your wife and the dog in the boot of the car and when you open the boot an hour later see which one is the happiest to see you.

    You did WHAT?

How would you have reacted if there was no food? We all like to be recognised as worthwhile and you just blanked her.

Been married since 1959 and each day I tell my wife I love her. We have a joke that what I really want is "C and C" coffee and cuddle and I get it.

Grounds for divorce, my boy, grounds for divorce. You basically told your wife that she needs to grow a hairy face and waggle her rump at you in order to get your attention and approval. One hopes you didn't try to give her a tummy tickle.

Breakfast in bed is the least you can do. Without the dog asking for the leftovers, of course! Good luck.
