Steel Suppliers
Does anyone know of a steel supplier in the northern suburbs of Sydney who can supply and cut small quantities if steel plate? What I need are; == two pieces 12mm thick, 45mm wide and 110mm long
== 2 pieces 16mm thick, 80mm wide and 180mm long,
== 4 pieces 10mm thick, 80mm wide and 85mm long.
For the curious, I am adapting some pre-war SS axles to an early Standard axle to make a period "special".
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jeremy. I'll give them a call. Most that I've called so far aren't interested in the scope of my requirements. BTW, I should have said initially that I am adapting SS axles to a Standard springs and chassis of about 1933.

I was going to mention Emco in Kuringai but checking their website, looks like they've shut down.

I used to buy steel at a place in the Hornsby Industrial area. They too recently closed. Thanks for info on Edcon, I'll try them.
