The Long Hot Spell
Sheesh. It's autumn for heaven's sake. February passed by with barely a whimper and we were looking forward to a mild if dry autumn ... and now we've had 10 days straight with the temp over 35C, 40 predicted for today and no relief in sight for the next week.
Methinks I like my airconditioner, which hasn't been used this summer until this week.

And a decent fire down at Willunga - 160 firefighters on the ground and it's still running away.

Hello from the other end of the world. We are waiting for some warmer weather. Sick of the snow.

At last some decent rain here in Melbourne - however we will need plenty more like it over the coming months.
