    Question Cementboard/backerboard - in Australia

Having finally discovered what I need to do to tile my existing wooden floor, it seems I need cement/backerboard before I can tile. My question is - where do I get it?! (I'm in the northern suburbs of Melbourne). Is this something really common that Mitre 10/Bunnings/other non-expert store will have, or do I need a speacialist place? If the latter, any suggestions for someone around this area? Thanks,
    Tania.

Chances are you local timber yard/hardware stocks it, and it's cement sheet tile underlay you are after.

Its easy to get from Nunnings, Mitre10 etc
You need to nail it down with special underlay nails
