Vanity/wall gap
Hi,
I've recently replaced our very old and ratty bathroom vanity with a 900 x 600 corner unit - only problem is the walls aren't exactly square (now there's a surprise!). As a result I can get the longest side of the vanity running tight against one wall, but the shorter side has approx 8mm gap at it's outer point. Have used silicon to seal around all edges between vanity and wall, but don't like the 8mm section of silicon. One idea was to fit a type of moulding along that edge, thereby covering the unsightly gap, but I'm reluctant to use timber (even if painted) as it would look cheap. Does anyone know of where I could source maybe a plastic (or other non-timber) moulding that would do the trick? The vanity top is white ceramic.
Thanks,
Bartman

Or you could use a bit of powdercoated aluminium angle.

Assumming you will have a tiled spashback, have you considered tiling around the vanity and using a corner edging tile, (I.e. a long thin tile with a triangular type profile), to cover the gaps completely?
