Ikea bathroom cabinet...help with measurement
Went to Ikea on the w/e and came back with everything I need to install a new vanity in the bathroom...
...everything except the frame for the drawers I blame the woman that served us as she left it off the picking list Not my fault, honest
Anyhow, not such a big drama as the drawer cabinet is only 390 deep and that would leave a gap that I would need to hide with an end panel, which I reckon would start to look tacked on.
So what I have decided to do is to build the drawer cabinet from scratch using a sheet of melamine from bunny's. The only measurement I need to confirm is the inside spacing between sides so that the rails will screw up nicely and not be pulled out of shape or too tight. The measurement I have come up with is 368mm - if any one has a Vattern 3 draw unit (http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/S89824372) could you pretty please measure the inside for me and let me know.

have you thought of just replacing the gable of the seen end. It would be a lot less trouble than trying to make a whole new draw box from scratch

Yes I have. The problem is going down to Ikea and getting it! The kit is only $55 so price isn't the issue. It's the trip down and back...
There's not that much to it really, 4 panels (could use 3) and a piece at the top front and drill some holes. I could probably even just give the cutting list to a cabinet maker and get them to cut the pieces I s'pose.
Would you be able to quote on that?
I need:
Qty Size
2 X 500X674
1 X 500X368
1 X 368X658
1 X 368X50
16mm white melamine, edged.
Let me know if you can do it.Semtex fixes all
