Spirit won't be long and I'll be looking as well I do occasionally check out the plans for BB I am with bigpuddle on the 12gig plan $60 usually just reach 5gig. The hassle is one e-mail addy or pay $1.50 per extra, 10 meg web page. Most others give you 5 e-mail address's 30 meg web page, and more.
Best place to check out many in one spot is Whirlpool http://www.whirlpool.net.au/
Vodaphone
http://www.vodafone.com.au/Personal/...lans/index.htm
pre-pay 365 days sounds ideal for your wife -its what I have mainly for calls inbound or if I really need to make a call I get the $50 top up and lasts me about 3 months.
Kids/teens and mobiles don't mix especially on accounts type
prepay is the only way to go if they use it up they have to wait till you can or they can get the next top up card.

Two of my kids have Virgin Broadband, for about $70 per month that includes telephone and all phone calls within Australia.
www.virginbroadband.com.au
That's about the same price as renting a phone line and your broadband connection.
Cheers,
P

Almost what he said. That network hasn't made it up to this part of the world yet so I can't take it up, but I would.
Virgin had this deal that gives you phone rental and unlimited calls nationally and broadband (512k) for $60 a month.

Now how do you link to a web site without showing the whole address?

about 30 I think, mine varies depending on how many calls we make. More calls less rental and vice versa

I am having good results with iinet. 4 months now.
One thing to watch is whether they count uploads towards your quota. BP does, So does Optus, plus many others. This can chew up your allowance very quickly, as I found when Optus changed me to a "better plan" without asking.
This is particularly important if you have someone into online gaming, or file sharing, as your uploads are significant. If you are only email, and web surfing, it is probably not as important.
iinet uploads are NOT counted.

We are with MySoul and have found them to be quite good. We pay $29.95 per month for unlimited B/B... no strings attached. Very impressed with their service.
Cheers,
