Here's one for everone
I'm asking you all... Why did you choose the forum name that you did?
FunkyChicken was my nickname given to me by one of my young friends...At the Turnout I seemed to gain the name, "Feathered One"
Answer away!

There's an old thread on this topic, but just as well to re-start.
I use my real name because it's easier to remember than any clever moniker I might cook up. Hard enough to remember my password.

The way I handle tools is apparently quite scary, according to those who watch, resulting in loud warning cries of "Incoming!" every time I pick up something sharp. I think they're just teasing ....

My main thing is pottery and making teapots. So confronted with logging on questions ....um....... Also a slight dig at the blokey dominated environment. What else would a girl in the shed be doing but bringing the tea?

Initially, it was because I thought I was a rather good looking chick magnet, but it turns out not to be the case, or so SWMBO reckons.
The truth is, I like to buy tools. I really don't care what they are, as long as they look pretty...the tools of course. ( I actually use them sometimes too!!!)Of course I'm brave, I'm afraid of NO man, and only a few women.

My daughters think I look like a Koala.
Apart from the fact that I'm short, have grey hair, am just very slightly overweight and like to lie around all day the description is completely inaccurate.
Gaz.
