Pelawan Decking
G'day
I have recently used Pelawan Decking on my new deck ( now 2 years old) and have been oiling it with cabots decking oil usually 2 - 3 coats. This seems to only last about 6 month, and dries out fairly quickly. At first I thought it may have been the timber absorbing the oil, but 3 application later it's still drying up. I'm ready to recoat the deck before this summer, and was wondering whether anyone else using Pelawan decking has the same issue, or anyone that knows of the product and give me some advice as to what to use.
Cheers

Deeptreat penetrating oil
Walter,
You asked your question 6 months ago and didn't receive a reply which troubles me because I have Pelawan questions too.If your still there Id suggest as a prelimanary exercise to the oil you should use is a deep penetrating product called DEEPTREAT as I suspect the timber is not very porous and the quality cabots just sits on top.
Love to hear about your experience with the PELAWAN deck if you ever check your posts.
Cheers
