Removing glue from wooden floor - Pls help. Ta!
Hi all,
I want to clean the sticky stuff left by the carpet on my wooden floor. Any comments welcome. Thanks.

Take a bit of it to your local hardware and see if they know which solvent to use, otherwise scrap it off, Nick

Was the carpet glued all over or just a bit of glue to keep the underlay in place, got any pics?

If its anything like the glue underneath vinyl tiles then we used turps and a scraper 80 % has come off another coat may get more and then the sander should finish it off.
