WOODWORKING QUIZ for 10 July 04
Good Evening Friends,
When making an irregular picture frame or polygon how big will it be?
How do you find the diameter point to point?
How do you find the outside flat side diameter? And lastly how do you find the diameter for the inside flat sides?

Good Evening Friends,
To find the diameter point to point on any given polygon all you have to do is double the length of the side length.
To find the outside edge of a polygon, ( six sided) you multiply the length by 1.73205.
To find the inside face you multiply the inside length by 1.73205

Or alternatively you could lay it all out on paper using a compass and a ruler.
