I seem to recollect the 'Book". I think it actually promotes the oposition stuff to the famous 'Shellastuff'.

The important thing is to keep the thread on track. We aren't doing too badly so far.

Bob, I think it went way off the track - I expected a little better of a site like this. I know we've got to have a few laughs in life but this was just a little sad.

I'm not a spoiled sport, and like a laugh as much as the next bloke, but I think the responses to an otherwise sensible post really degenerated into abject stupidity. Where are the moderators ??

Mr McCarthy, the moderators in this case were: , absent from his post slumming it in the NW of Australia.
Neil: Getting ready to be at one of his many public appearances, The Melbourne Working with Wood show to raise revenue to keep this board open.
Christopha, was getting ready to appear with Neil, see preceding paragraph.
Shane, he too was probably making money by travelling the Eastern Seaboard of Queensland in order to eat that week.

one in the chain - the granddaughter !!!

I've really forgotten what I was on about here - I think there was talk about Red Wine - ah, yes - I am enjoying the odd Shiraz at the moment so I think I'll sign off.

This thread was started with a very tongue in cheek dig at our Illustrious Leader namely Neil. At least that was my impression. Correct me if I am wrong Bob. Other respondents picked up on this and followed suit.

We try to keep this board uniquely Australian with our warped sense of humour and I think that the balance between information and Humour is about right.

As most on this board know: if it gets too far off track "The Lord High Executioner" steps in, gets abused, smiles back and in a little while all is well again.

Go with the flow and do not act like your American namesake that caused a great deal of grief with his witch hunts.

Going well, All. The second table is nearly finished.

The finishing shed is great and well worth the effort of building it.

Now I've started clearing out the other shed which I'll convert into a wood storage area.
