Thumbs up Rocker's Heart is in the right place!

I've just spoken with Mrs Rocker, and she's confirmed they found his heart right where it was supposed to be!

Coincidentally, I had looked up her phone number, and was dialling when this email arrived:

Rocker wanted me to send you an email... he had his open heart surgery & bypass on Saturday morning.
He got out of I.C.U. yesterday afternoon and is doing well! He got to take a shower & shave this morning, he's taking about 4 walks a day, so they keep him busy.

I'm amazed at the progress he's made in such a short time!
Basically all went perfectly, although they did have to poke around in both his legs to find an artery they could use, and with a bit of luck he'll be out of hospital by the weekend.

So that's fantastic news, and we should have some chair destruction videos together within a few weeks of his recovery!

    I'll keep you posted.

    Cheers,

    P

That is very good news, indeed.
I am sure that you will pass on all our (ie not just the Queenslanders and others he meets in person at GTGs but also all the virtual community of WWF) best wishes when next you speak to David (or Mrs R).
    Cheers

    Thumbs up Rocker's heart

Glad to hear Rocker is doing so well! I had that op just before Christmas and I get better each day. Couldn't believe the difference after just 3-4 days. To- day drove to my woodturner's group and then round to a mates to cut up some timber. He did the work and I supervised! that was only because it will be a few weeks before the Docs. will let me do any heavier work.Got to protect the sternum.

Keep it up Rocker. Like me you will have many more years to look at the top of the grass!!
