Backsplash
I am trying to install a stainless backsplash. The backsplash that is there now is one big piece of formica. Which is also my countertop. Is there any way to glue it to the formica ? If so what type of glue do i need? Or is there another way to install it? Thanks for any help I can get!!

I had my SS splash back cut a little oversize and carefully slid a a cm or so behind the overhead cabinets. Other than that, I just used standard silicone sealant as the adhesive.

I to am about to install a SS splash back but have make a template out of 6mm villa board and will take it to the fabricator to cover and then stick this to the wall with liquid nails or some thing .
i saw this done and it looks great it gives the splash back some strength and thickness .

I went and got the splash back make up on Saturday it's 900 wide and about 850 high but the top is contoured to the ranger hood ,it has about four different angles to it .
i ended up using 4.5mm villa board and 0.9mm stain less with a 5mm bend . I glued the stainless to the villa board and then the back of the villa board to the wall .it looks hot and it only cost $160 for a custom make splash back .
