Default Advice on replacing warped boards

    Hi

My deck has been down for almost a year now.

Due to the extreme of the Perth heat etc some of the boards and quite warped.

I want to replace them before rejuvenating my deck.

I have some spare boards that the guys left for me in the garage.

Question: I need to cut the lengths of decking to the precise size otherwise they will not butt up nicely against the existing boards.

Should I use a compound mitre saw to achieve this?

I was going to use a handsaw however the advice I was given was that it is too difficult and would take too long and hard to cut straight etc.

I only have about 7 boards to replace.

I was thinking of perhaps going to Bunnings and buying the cheapest saw they have, ie the Ozitto Copound Saw for $55.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

Arry for 7 boards i'd be looking at hand sawing personally.
I purchased a cheap mitre saw recently when my trusty Makita gave up the ghost and spent ages setting it to cut at a true 90 degrees.
I fell back to the hand saw, undercutting each board.

Would anyone suggest a Compound Mitre saw or just by hand?
