Weakening.
OK OK OK! I have tried to resist even considering a festool Domino , but sit here , Cap in hand, and beg to ask , are you guys that own them still happy with them?
I am in the middle of a project with over 60 M&T joints and to be honest, I am sick of them and Im not even half way yet.
I have read a lot on this forum about the domi and would like to here from folks that have had them for a while. Cheers StevenThe hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

Thanks for the quick replies, I didn't really need to much convinceing , and will place an order in the next week.
My next question is where to get it.
I have had a bit of a search on the net but would like help in regards to the best place to buy.
I was thinking of getting the basic kit and as extras, I thought of the 10 mm cutter, trimguide and matching dominoes. Does this sound OK?
Some advice would be nice..... Cheers Steven. The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

I Bought the Domino with the extras, but I must say, I dont use them as much as I thought I would.
I also bought the systainer with the domino's and cutters, although I make my own domino's now. (you wouldnt believe the price of them here)

Well the decision has been made, and will place an order early next week. I have decided to get the complete kit with all the bells and whistles.
Now that I am about to become a "Festoolian" or better yet a "Domineer" will I be automatically admitted to the "Sect" or do I have to qualify somehow?
I would expect a dark stranger to knock on my door in the dead of night and show me the secret handshake and go through some sort of ritual or initiation. The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

That sort of gumph went out with the ark. You'll be given a once-off phone contact and an email address with the tool. Sometimes the hood, cloak and tights come as a promotional item, otherwise you need to pay the $50 for them. Forget the green plastic boots, they're way over the top and tacky.

Well, after placing the order on Friday morning , the Domino arrived Today, Tuesday , just after lunch. Considering there was a long weekend I reckon that was pretty good. Now to go and have good play, before using it in anger tomorrow. I know this post is no good without a pic , so here she is. Cheers steven.Domino (712 x 534) (534 x 400).jpg
